Is it just me or is there

almost a timeless quality to this movie that was actually there when the movie came out. The fact that it's in black & white, the old falling apart louisiana
buildings. The crackle of old time music. I realize all these things are intentional. But seems mroe relavent now then when this movie came out in 1986.
