The Setting

This sequel was entertaining. However, I would have preferred if the writers continued the story where the original left off or a few weeks after with new characters and a different location. This film took place a few years after and considering how the original ended, it would have made more sense had they set Demons 2 in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by demons. This was a rehash of the original (similar to ROTLD II). Regardless, the movie was still fun, but it had potential.

Kinda wish it had to, I mean there's a demon infestation spreading like a plague, how did they take time to build a massive wall round the forbidden zone with hundreds of demons swarming about lol part 2 should've had it spreading everywhere.

Lazy writin' Cap'n! That scenario you pictured could have been the main story for the first sequel; the fall of civilization. I wish the trivia section of this movie's page had some answers, but no. Resident Evil did what this franchise (and the Return of the Living Dead series) failed to do... carry the arc. What a waste. This franchise could have been remembered in movie history as one of the greatest "zombie" stories ever depicted on film. Ditto for ROFTLD). You know, both films have a lot in common. Both contain zombies or demons (basically the same monster, but with distinguishable characteristics), had actors from the original playing different roles, had a kick ass soundtrack, produced a sequel that poorly (mainly ROFTLD II, Demons 2 was OK) rehashes the original film.

How far would it have spread, as it was set in West Berlin at the time would the East Germans and Russians contained it. Could have been an epic sequel with the Demon's breaking out all over East Germany and spreading to the west through NATO lines.
