Ted's girlfriend was totally pathetic. She let him talk down to her, scream at her daughter and otherwise treat her like dirt. She irritated the hell out of me. Also, that stubborn, mule-headed cop who wouldn't help the parents of the tall girl who went missing. He even lost critical evidence. He was like those cops of a Lifetime movie who won't do anything until it's too late.
shareIt's very common to see girls that like to be beaten and mistreated by their boyfriends, they only date guys like that.
And cops indeed took too much time to arrest him.
Yeah, that cop (played by Billy Green Bush)really annoyed me in both his attitude and procedure. The girlfriend is meek, but at least she has wherewithal to figure out that the "Ted" the authorities are looking for is her Ted, and she does report him.
