Inquired with Sony/Columbia TriStar Home Video on the prospects of a DVD release. The reply was short and to the point:
"This title is not scheduled for release at this time but thank you for your
interest. We appreciate the feedback. We are looking at all
possibilities."

I also enquired to Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment and asked when they planned to release "Crossroads" on DVD.
I received a letter back from Michael Stradford, Vice President, DVD Programming and Content just this past week.
To my surprise, they are planning the release of Crossroads on August 26,2004.
I am anxiously waiting for this film to be finally be released on DVD, hopefully in 5.1 surround sound.
Hope you are as happy about this as I am. I really liked the music and can't wait to see the ending over and over again.
