Beautiful house

It is a beautiful house. When my mother and I were vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC, years ago, we took a drive up the coast to Southport, NC, and just happened to drive by the house, unbeknownst to us at the time that it was the same house from 'Crimes of the Heart'. I even took a picture of it because it was so beautiful. It wasn't until later that we picked up a brochure about the town and read that the movie was filmed there, and I then realized that the house we admired and photographed was the one in the movie.

It is a beautiful house. I've loved driving/walking by it for years. It was built in 1900 just a couple of blocks from the Cape Fear River. It isn't for sale now, but next time it is I'm going to the Open House! According to Zillow, "it has granite tile flooring and original tin ceiling, Parlor, breakfast area next to formal dining room. Lots of architectural details, wainscoting and an amazing gourmet chef kitchen that offers 4 ovens, steamer, 2 refrigerators and a walk-in refrigerator." Three bedrooms, three baths.

Yeah, great house.
