Sissy Spacek Hot?

Anyone else think so? I have always thought she was pretty unattractive, but in this movie... wow.

reply

She does look particularly lovely in this film.

A little make up goes a long way. They covered up her freckles with some foundation and put mascara on her. Viola! A lovely woman!

Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!

Totally agree. I found her very unattractive in Carrie, but she really was beautiful here. She had a sort of glow to her. I found her nose especially cute 

Very good. But brick not hit back!

That's because you all are unfamiliar with Sissy in her early work, when she was super hot! Check out Badlands and Prime Cut.

reply

I've seen both Badlands and Prime Cut and she still looks her best in this film.

I'm a fan and I think she looks best in this. To each their own.

Oh you AND everyone you know thinks she looks hot in Prime Cut. I'm so sorry. Of course I'm wrong then. Thanks for showing me the light.

The way you put it before sounded like you were forcing your opinion on me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! There is something indescribable about her, so luminescent. Her beauty is "shocking" when it hits you, because it's not what you're used to, the FAKE beauties. When I first saw Carrie when I was young I was so struck by her natural beauty. I was mesmerized.
Coal Miners Daughter is a movie I've seen SO many times and if it came on right now I'd watch it again, she is OUTSTANDING

Now, to this film, one of my all time favorites. I own it, I've watched it SO many times. It's my go to movie....when? When I want a feel good movie, but you know what? When I feel like s h i t, I go to it. Why? Because we all have a crazy, toxic person like the neighbor,we all have a nutty sweet emotional "glue" person in our lives, we ALL have a narcissistic albatross, and we all know a "Babe", minus the shooting of course
