Sudden shift in the story (SPOILERS)

I was watching this rather crappy film and was surprised at how the story suddenly switched to the climax.

Kinksi says 'Heil, Gunther' then the climax to the story begins with a chase sequence through the crawlspace.

My video cassette of this film ran 76 and a half minutes from start to the end of the credits.

Was anything cut out?

I doubt it. I just saw the "full" version of Hulu and have the same VHS copy you have and have not noticed anything cut out.
