Kinski is the Reason to Watch

Yeah, the movie can be rather cliche and rather dumb at moments. But Klaus Kinski, in one of his last roles, still manages to put on a great performance. Amongst a cast of mostly bad actors and with a fairly generic thriller/suspense storyline, Kinski is able to turn the character of Gunther into the only believable character in a film that is mostly unbelievable. His scenes of playing Russian Roulette with himself to the incredibly maddening scene with him dressed as a Nazi with lipstick on watching old Hitler propaganda films could be pretty nerve wracking to watch.

The film is no masterpiece but with a good soundtrack and a fantastic job by Klaus Kinski, it is certainly worth the time to check out.

I liked the music of the film as well. I believe it was Richard Band that composed the music.

The movie is interesting because on the surface, it appears to be just another low-end slasher flick. But Kinski is able to bring Gunther to life. And his performance is definitely unsettling. Overall, a somewhat weak film turns into an above average psychological slasher film because Kinski was just that good of an actor.
