I liked this movie.. but why do people say it's disturbing, gross or gorey? There's barely nothing to be disturbed about besides child prostitution and a deformed mutant.
It's not disturbing and it's very very predictable. I would have enjoyed this movie a lot more if people haven't hyped it up to be so sick and disturbing.
Well it depends... on this site i've read people complaining about violence and disturbing in the most boring and regular movies... it depends on what's gross or gritty or grim or disturbing for you.
This guy comes back from hell/Nam to a hometown where nobody gives him any kind of affection, to a nagging wife a father who has forgotten him believing him dead, and when finds out he is still alive actually tells him over the phone that he prefers to keep thinking he is dead, that from a huge empty house, the local thugs wont leave him alone, his friend is a junkie who injects himself drugs with a rusty wire because he's got no needle, no work for him no friends no love or care of any kind, and the cherry on top is his deformed agent orange baby who wont stop crying, until he can't take it anymore and shots her pregnant wife in the belly, kills his baby by baking him on the oven and then ƒucking blows his brains out just after drinking rotten milk.
Understand that some people may find this disturbing.
