I felt so sad about that poor guy, the misery in wich he tries to survive. His horribly looking and nagging wife and mutant son (i understand why he killed them. I would have done that too)
Watch this movie if you feel low or are depressed, ill guarantee that you feel better because there it is nothing compared to the utter hell our vietnam veteran goes trough.

I enjoy watching this movie as i too suffer from post-traumatic hell :)

Nope, no veteran. Just your ordinary suicical citizen next door. Swedish I might add.

Yea I'm with the OP, the hell depicted makes the hell I endure a little easier to endure. Like the scenes with the junky reminded me of how good it is to not be going through that sh!t anymore, almost 9 years clean.

I also have 6yrs of scar tissue that i can't seem to get rid of!!! But life goes on!!! Stiff Upper Lip!!! Get On With It!!! YEAH RIGHT???!!!

It's funny, though. We all sympathize with the husband, I think the film really sets you up to hate the wife, but what is he really doing?
Yeah, it makes it to unemployment, but most of the film he's just walking around talking to junkie pals.

His heart's in the right place, but so is his wife's.
