Are Eddie and Vince enemies at the end?
Obviously, they both want to win the game they are playing at the end--but do they really harbor ill will toward each other or not?
shareI Don't think so. I feel that they got what they needed to say to eachother out of there systems in the final scene before they decide to play eachother for the envelope. Before they play Vince says, 'Eddie, what are you gonna do when i kick your ass?' He means it in a competitive, sportsman way...any athletes that play eachother in sport wheather it's pool, hockey , baseball , football etc....has to hate the opponent. When it's all said and done and the game's over, you can be buddie's and reunite. I feel that after the game, Eddie and Vince both went there seperate ways with respect for one another. But that's just me.
