So many great scenes in this movie. Why cut pizza with scissors? Because he can. I also think his apartment there in Venice beach back then was 1000 bucks a month

It's clearly in his character; He don't care about the money at all! He have & he uses some, but he don't flash it like Mike Lowrey; No expensive suits, high class furniture or anything. His car sure ain't cheap either, tuned & reinforced in most ways possible.

I use scissors to cut cheese toasties in half . Mush less stress on the material than a knife so dosent squash it.
