the band listed on the end credits that performs the song is called Stratus but I've looked for it and can't find the song or anything that warrants the "groups" existance.

Does anyone know where I can find the theme song?
I really like it.

Hey, the song "Run For Your Life" by Stratus is off of their LP titled "Throwing Shapes" which can be found on ebay once in a while. Hope this helps!

Stratus is the band made up of member of Praying Mantis and former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr. The singer is Bernie Shaw (he was in Uriah Heep for a while I think). I have a bootleg CD of Throwing Shapes and Run for Your Life is on the record. Never officially released on CD.

Could you upload the song and post it on megaupload or something?

are you guys talking bout the song that's like constantly playing in the background ? I have an old 80's copy recorded from VHS. it's the same song playing when krissy and warren are doing it.

reply

Yeah. And it seems to be Run for your life by Status. Now we just need to find it :P

For what it's worth, I can verify that I downloaded this rar, scanned it with AVG, nothing turned up so I unpacked it...and voila, the album! Very happy.

I found the entire Stratus CD "Throwing Shapes" on iTunes. You can buy the song for $0.99 or the entire CD for less than $9. It's 1980s AOR-based hard rock, featuring the Troy brothers of Praying Mantis, Bernie Shaw of Uriah Heep, and Clive Burr, the drummer on Iron Maiden's first 3 CDs (Iron Maiden, Killers & Number of the Beast).

I also came across a copy of the song "Angel" by GMT (Glen/McCauley/Taylor). I thought the voice sounded like Robin McCauley of McCauley/Schenker Group, and I was right. The band also features Chris Glen of MSG fame & Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor of Motorhead fame. Originally, Brian Robertson of Thin Lizzy/Motorhead was the guitarist in the band, but he ended up not recording with them. They ended up recording with Marcus Schleicher.

Sorry, I'm a geek for this stuff.

The album is also on Spotify (in the UK at least), if anyone still cares.

The official soundtrack to Class Of Nuke 'Em High has just been released on Ship To Shore, you can order it from their webstore. It's limited edition though, so there's not many copies.

If you can find a good sounding copy of the song on you tube, you can then go to a site like You Tube-MP3.org and copy and paste the link to the video, and it will download the song in MP3 form.
