R2 widescreen version?

Hey,

I just got my CotCB dvd from play.com but noticed it is 4:3 fullscreen format (released by Optimum in 2005). The webpage for the film at play.com doesnt mention this and I am annoyed, as I assume movies released today-ish should be in their original ration.

They also have the R1 widescreen version. But I prefer R2 PAL so I wonder if a Re2 widescreen version has been released?

There's atleast a Scandinavian R2 version of the DVD. It's 2.35:1 Anamorphic, 5.1 DD and DTS with Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish subtitles.

Hmm, I never saw this release. I have a UK R2 with 4:3 image, but now that you mentioned it I found the widescreen version. Thanks!
