The Book...

...is amazing. Jean M. Auel did extensive research. I had no idea the movie was nominated for an Oscar for best makeup. I remember liking the movie. I was a kid when I watched it though.

I read the book first, then watched the movie. I stil have the book on my shelf. That's how much I like it. Now to rewatch! and Yes, she did do extensive research.

EDIT: She has 6 books in the series. I've read 1-4. I haven't read the last 2. I really wish someone had made movies of all of them.

I just checked here: http://www.jeanauel.com/books.php and there's a trailor. So there is another movie. Hmm

EDIT of EDIT: LOL. Alright, so no, it was a trailor for the last book. Drats!!!

They're REALLY good, kalei. I like learning about the old ways of medicine, etc. There really is alot to pick up in her books, but with the wealth of knowledge the internet affords now her books pique my interest hile reading and have it (online) to further read on an specific quetion. Her books actually (along with my g'mother) started my, oh what's the word, for medicinal, matural living, frugality, not be so dependent on these here modern devices..

I think she took a beating when she started going under the knife, but I've always liked her. She's tall. So am I.
