Plot Goof Comment

I read the Plot Goof and I offer this comment. If you follow the dialog carefully when George is trying to mail the letter and film to Mr. Renfield, the rationale is that since the Post Office is open, on Sunday, to accept letters to Santa, then it follows that it is open to accept all letters, since it is a Post Office. I don't feel it's a plot goof at all. Any other observations?

We watch this movie every Christmas. It's one of our all time favorites, especially now that John is no longer with us. We wish we had something better than an old, scratchy VHS tape.

I just purchased this movie on DVD from "The Small Screen". It arrived within a few days and is in good condition, given the age of this movie. You can purchase it at:

I totally agree!! If the Post Office is open, they should be in full service!!

I can't wait to see this again this holiday season.

Actually, a town would have the right to do that because post offices are closed on Sundays otherwise. He should have just dropped the letter in the mailbox without complaint.

Bruce Lee was real. Batman was never real.

He sees that the Post Office is open so it is natural to expect that they'd be open for everyone. No goof at all.
