Robots resembled T-100 terminators

Did anyone think the Chopping Mall robots bear a resemblence to the T-100 terminators from TERMINATOR 3? Sure, the mall robots are smaller but look like they belong in the T3 movie. Design concept is very similar.

They looked like Number 5 from Short Circuit... on steroids.

Are you having a laugh or are you being serious here?

How the hell can this be a 'total rip off' if Terminator 3 was made in 2003 and this was made in 1986?

reply

Time travel, that's how.

I think you mean the T-100 terminators resemble the robots in this movie.

'The T-1 Battlefield Robot, also known as T-1 Ground Assault Vehicle, is a fully autonomous Ground Offensive System and the first Terminator class robot and a Hunter-Killer Tank prototype to be produced by Cyber Research Systems. Designed for extreme combat, the Series 1 was built to clear battlefields of enemy troops with its powerful weaponry.'

'The T-1 from Terminator Salvation is once referred as T-100 by McG.'
