I really want to see this. Does anyone know what the DVD title is and if there is an R1 release of it on DVD? If there isn't an R1 release does anyone know where I can find a different copy of the DVD? Plzzzzz help!

I've got it on R2. Look on amazon.co.uk or sendit.com

Yea both R2 versions are cut. I just found out though that www.midnight1.com has VHS copies of it uncut. They want $20 bucks though.

think this guy is legit?

reply

the company is Magna Pacific

Australian DVD runs nothing like 90 minutes!!! It runs just a shade over 83 minutes, and is correctly stated on the DVD sleeve, two thumbs up to Magna Pacific for that.

Is OOP from what I can see, but can be readily had on ebay for about 10 bucks.

So I guess this is not released on DVD uncut anywhere. All releases seem to be the cut 83 minute print. Somebody release the 87 minute version!

reply

Yes, but is that 87 minutes NTSC or PAL speed? If it's NTSC it means that it's unlikely anything has been cut from the PAL disc. I don't have the supposedly uncut Australian VHS, but I watched the DVD, and while I didn't think it particularly gory for its R rating, it doesn't look cut.

reply

No it's cut and not just to the conversion. I have a copy from the Japanese laserdisc or vhs which is 87 minutes. I haven't either version though.

reply

A Japanese version would be NTSC though, PAL speed would drop a few minutes from that time.

But all this is by the by really, aside from Simonetti's soundtrack, it's a fairly unremarkable mid to late 80s slasher film that neither thrills nor chills.

There is a new edition of the movie in Italy. According to Amazon.it it's in widescreen, 87 min. running time (PAL) and has English audio track.
Could anyone from Italy verify that?
