"I don't want to see you tomorrow"

During their scene in the car, Sandy and Jeffrey discuss meeting up again. Sandy says she "doesn't want to" see Jeffrey tomorrow, but did she mean she couldn't? Because she was seeing her boyfriend. I thought that either she was trying to suggest to Jeffrey she was already involved with another man and therefore unavailable, or she didn't word it correctly and was suppose to say "I can't see you tomorrow". Perhaps it was a Freudian slip and she didn't want to see him because she knew it would probably ignite her romantic feelings for him, which was quite evident from the moment they met.

She didn't want to see him tomorrow because she wanted to see her boyfriend...?

Saying "I don't want to see you" as opposed to saying...

"I can't see you"

are two completely different things. "Can't" implies she would like to, but has plans. Don't want to indicates she doesn't want to see him. But I think deep down she knew all along it was Jeffrey her heart desired.

But..she...didn't want to see him. She wanted to see Mike. She still had an emotional attachment to Mike, or she still enjoyed having him over her house out of habit. Even if deep down she wanted Jeffrey she'd be giving him too much power by being available every night.
