There are about two dozen arthouse theater's that

Have Midnight showings of this film every 2 or 3 months.

It's considered a black comedy.
No one calls it a masterpiece.

They come to watch it to mock it and laugh at it.

The cringe worthy dialogue and terrible direction.

David Lynch has made a career of putting his wet dreams on-screen.

I wish there were two dozen arthouse theaters in Australia that screened it so frequently. It's the type of film that deserves to be seen on the big screen.

I once went to an all-nighter of Lynch films. This was the first they showed. Quite an experience.

..It's an art-noir masterpiece. If people laugh AT it, they're wrong. If they DON'T laugh WITH it, they're wrong also.
