I haven't watched this movie since it first came out and I was a teenager. Watching it again now I realized that there is such a prevalence of green throughout the entire movie. Green Windows, green lighting, green files, green clothing, etc.

I tried to search online to see if there was any significance to so much use of this color, but I couldn't find anything.

Any thoughts?

I am curious why the police/investigator office have that crazy green color painted Windows? It's gross! I'm sure they can afford a window

I once heard that a woman wearing green is supposed to signify that she is evil.

Green=envy and jealousy, greed. They all represented Catherine.

Green traditionally equals envy. Does Alex envy Catherine? She sure as hell enjoys a bit of her husband…

Plus, there’s some theme around whether each woman is capable of love. Does it turn out that the Black Widow can love, and does lonely Alex envy her for that..?
