I remember liking this as a kid when I watched it on TV. The helicopter subplot wasn't great and could have been left out, but the character Biggles himself was cool. I don't know if I'd like the film today, but it was more entertaining than a lot of other children's entertainment at the time.
I liked the ending scene.
