Anyone knows what the sequel was suppose to be about?

I can't really imagine where the story could possible go. How do you top defeating an evil immortal Asian wizard and his minions through bad ass martial arts, paragon teamwork and good ol' dumb luck?

A comic book sequel series has been released recently and it'd seem that they get together again to fight Hong's character again. I've only seen the first couple of screens (that explain in a highly questionable fashion what happened after that monstrous creature jumped out of Jack's truck).

So, anyone has any info on what were the ideas for the movie sequel, if there in fact were any specifics suggested at any point by any of the original crew?

I recently watched the movie with the commentary between Kurt Russel and John Carpenter, on the commentary (near the end) they talk about how there was never supposed to be a sequel - that it was left open ended on purpose, but it wasn't with the intention of doing a second movie.

I remember reading something about a possible sequel being set in Hong Kong.

Simply, all will begin where the original movie ends.. Jack Burton is driving highway under a tempest,we clearly see the original Kurt Russel(cgi or other skills of cinema industry) so he's just parking the Truck in gas station for have dinner
He put his feet on the ground and you can see a lighting under his feet
Before dinner He is walking inside the restroom and once enter look at the Mirror we can see
a Older Jack Burton (Actual Kurt Russell if you need cast him and use the rock for co protagonist or villain)
or
The Rock (if you need a story focusing how try have backthe original Jack Burton)

This because he (Jack Burton) earn a spell killing LO Pan

Make your consideration for what goal could have this my idea for a sequel

so all will start from here!
