Dwayne Johnson does not fit the character. That is terrible casting for a remake. Jensen Ackles would have been better. I hope they don't get that Asian guy from Fast and Furious as Wang. This remake will suck.

In all fairness remakes almost always suck anyway.But yea i agree.Said pretty much the same thing in my post.My top three choices would be Ryan Reynolds,Chris Pratt or Nathan Fillion but Ackles would be a fine choice as well.Hell i would rather see 65 year russell play the part again than see Johnson in the part.I like the Rock but he's no Jack Burton.

I like Kurt Russell but this film is an uneven mess that rates a 6 at best and I am being too generous. Hopefully the remake is much better !

you are right The Rock is about a foot taller then Jack Burton. the casting people should have found some one closer to that height. Edward Furlong would have been a good choice

His height is not the problem. The Rock looks superhuman and Jack Burton is not Superhuman. He is a guy that thinks he is all that when he is not. He is very much like Star Lord. Rock could never pull of the character and having him in the role would change the character.

Thats a joke right?Have you seen him lately? He looks like hell and IMO he really has never been that good of an actor he was fine in AHX,T2 and Detroit Rock City but he was awful in everything else and nowdays he is doing direct to video movies.

I honestly hate the idea of remake there are really not that many good remakes out there
