My High School Musical

This year my High School is performing Barnum as our Musical. My best friend Ryan is playing the part of Bailey, and tonight is the opening night! I am so excited for them. I really hope they do as wonderful a job as was done in the movie and broadway show. There is so much talent out there!

Did anyone else's school perform this? I am just wondering because I thought that this was kind of an obscure and original thing to perform in high school, not the usual like, Bye Bye Birdie and Greese which alot of schools do.

I was in this a long time ago back around 1985 (when I was a kid) . . it was done as a community theater project and I loved every minute of it . . "There is a sucker born every minute!" . . I can still remember most of the songs! I was about 12 when I was in this and just played a chorus member which included a clown, acrobat and baton twirler. It was the most fun I've ever had in the theater!

hey our school is doing it for a musical next year and i was told today that i got a role but i dont kno wat one...i dont think a major one... i was just wondering if sumone could tell me a list of major and minor characters as i cant find one on the net

Our school is doing the last night of our production od Barnuma and im playing the role of Joice Heth, so much fun! seriously if you ever get chance to do this fantastic musical, so it!!

I hope you had as wonderful a time performing in Barnum as I did playing in the pit. Be nice to the musicians; this is a very difficult and taxing score.

my school did it back in 2004 gee so long ago
it was my 1st real musical
i got da small but good part of Amos Scudder
lol it was so fun to work with my mate who played Bailey and one of the many musical legends that come from my school who played barnum
we got to sing Museum Song 2gether man o man was it fun i say congrats to all who do this for makin a wonderful choice

my school's doing it next year; tis unlikely for me to get any big roles but that's just fine. it's very hard to fine stuff on Barnum, like synopsis or anything. i only recently found a detailed one.

Fortunately, at that moment, an unconscious Argentinean fell through my roof.
