Jack Elam in leading role?

i was pretty suprised to see jack elam play the leading role in a movie. i thought he only played smaller roles as cool guys. (in his later career). also, on top of that - it's a science fiction!. some of this made sense though when i realised later in the movie it was a.. sciensefiction/western(!), (couse elam did alote of westerns, right?.) i didn't realise at first it was a western couse i only saw him in the dark cabin the first few minutes of the movie.


i think something must be wrong,
when you treat me nice,
i figure something is going on,
when youre being so kind,
what was the cause,
of this sudden affection on your part,
when you treat me nice,
i figure something horrible is waiting now,
but if you treat me wrong, i won't be asking why,
just declare, that something must be right.
