I've been a long-time Robert Conrad fan, from his star making role in THE WILD, WILD WEST, to BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP. I discovered ASSASSIN on a Mill Creek 50-pack collection of movies. It's no great shakes and probably 15 minutes too long, but it was diverting. I wish there had been more robot mayhem!

This was also released from Simitar Entertainment, Inc. as a seperate DVD.

Anyhow, I get the impression this was a backdoor pilot. Where Conrad's character would be pressed back into the spy service. At least my take on the film.
