Good, frightening, alien-cyborg movie ever!

Dam, this movie may not have been a hit blockbuster like The Terminator movie but it is the scariest & frightening alien-cyborg movie I ever seen in my life. When I was a kid (twelve years old) and first seen this movie in 1986, I was so scared to death to go camping, log cabin, woods or basement at night with any girl or girls older than me. This movie spooked me to the point that I was afraid of people coming from a flight on a plane! This movie is a cross between The Terminator & (a little bit) Millennium (except for the time traveling). One scene that was scary & creepy (and now a bit funny) is that when the guy was attacked by his girlfriend friend, the blond during the daytime and her arm came off and she took it and still kept on attacking the guy while he was fleeing from her (hilarious, now). There are a couple of scary scenes that I love about this movie that got me so scared. The most scary scene is the part when his girlfriend (imposter, alien-cyborg) attacked him in the woods at night (holy s**t, was my expression) (she showed him, her or should I say it, its true colors). Another is when he found those kids are not what he thought they were (dam! was my expression). Another, the professor (What the *beep* was my expression) and at the end was the loneliest & scary one (Jesus Christ! he's surrounded (metaphorically) by that thing (alien-cyborg), was my expression). This movie made me feel I was the last of the Mohicans, sort to speak. Everywhere the guy went to found safety or sanctuary from someone, it often turns out to be one of those alien-cyborg trying to kill or silence him from disclosing their existences.

The alien-cyborg special effects are very good for that time and are still is.
I hope movie studio makes a modern remake of this movie but with more info that this film didn't explain the alien-cyborg: where they came from, how they capture people they masquerade as, how they got to earth, how long they have existed & been on earth and most of all their mission or agenda (which is obvious, to wipe out mankind). Oh also a couple of twist & turns, which makes it frighteningly scary! (Like who's who!).
