I remember in the summer of 1986 I would watch Andy Taylor's - Take It Easy (American Anthem Soundtrack) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PypkbiMD1Ew on MTV! The movie was being advertised a lot & it looked like it was going to be a hit! Sadly it wasn't, but it still had a lot of good elements! Loved the soundtrack, visuals, cast & the 1980s feel of it. I think it had a lot of potential & could have been better with a screenplay revision & better directing (could have gotten better acting out of some of the cast). Either way I still watch it today since I own the DVD & enjoy it for what it is. I actually contacted Maria Anz via Facebook 6 years ago & she was nice enough to reply.

I'm watching it right now! The acting wasn't the greatest, but I still love this movie! The one thing I noticed was how fast everything went. Like Mitch and Janet getting together so quickly, how quickly she learned everything for the first meet. I taped it and I've been watching it like twice a week! Mitch Gaylord! OMG, gorgeous!!! I still enjoy it now matter how many times I've watched it!

oh yeah that was pretty bad how Mitch & Janet hooked up so fast. It didn't come off natural at all! I remember Mitch's line was like "do you have a boyfriend?" & Janet was like "no" & then he is like "do you want one?" Funny sounds like you had a crush on Mitch like most women do & I had the biggest crush on Janet being only 8 years old at the time...hahaha!
