God Bless the Deford Family

Today, it has been 24 years since the death of Alex Deford. Her courageous spirit continues to touch the lives of many people (myself include). God bless Alex and God bless her wonderful family.

Why is this wonderful movie never on LIFETIME or available on VHS/DVD???

Not too sure about that.

I was lucky enough to catch it years ago.

You can, however, buy the book Alex: The Life of a Child by Frank Deford at Amazon.com.

You should definitely check it out.. its worth every penny.

I too have been touched by Alex Deford and her story. I read her father's book and I'd like to see the movie. I know a few people with CF, and it's very sad that many of those who suffer from it die so young. Hopefully someday they will find a cure for this disease.
