amazing clothes!

I love this movie for so, so many reasons, but one of them has to be Beatrice Dalle's clothes. I love the amazing overalls she wears when painting and the great red dress. How I've searched for a long-sleeved short red dress like hers! She always looks so simply amazing. Even when she wears the granny panties! And how she wears keds-like sneakers with her sundresses. Ahh. . . The clothes (hers at least, Zorg's not so much) seem amazing for the mid-80's, especially! So timeless and not dated at all.

Oh and her haircut is also great! Anyone else like her style in this movie or have any other films where you really love a character's clothes?

I love the clothes aswell, very simplistic and casual yet striking!

To be honest I was somewhat inspired by Beatrice Dalle, when I decided to have my hair cut into a bob ( someone told me we looked similar). I can't tell you how much I now regret having all my hair cut off!!

I love her clothes...I also want that red dress...and even the black apron...with a nice tank under it! I want it..

I also love the makeup, very natural but very beautiful and simple. Its true when Zorg says "not many girls can be so casual" or something like that.

I had the same thought when I first saw the film, by which time it was the 90s, and at the time impossible to get hold of those lovely styles! Now it's the 00's and I'm a bit too old. LOL

Zorgs Parka

I am looking for a parka like Zorg is using in this movie. It looks like a military parka with fur collar buttons in front and cuffs.

If anyone have an idea, I will be very Grateful!

Agree with everything the OP writes about Betty/Dalle's clothes, hair, make-up etc. I suspect that part of the allure is how beautiful and stylish Dalle is. Not many could carry that red dress off.

Her style's great...love the apron dress, wish I'd have worn that when young enough (minus the side-boob by wearing a top under it of course) but didn't have the confidence.
Watching it now and want my 90's bob back :)

I agree - that red dress is just stunning, but being a stunning woman, she carries off those overalls well!
