I was just wondering but has the television show Valerie/Hogan Family been shown on ION yet? I was just wondering about that because that would be great to see on that station you know. What do you guys think?
shareValerie/Hogan Family was actually one of ION's (then Pax) first programs that they reran back from 1998-2000, sandwiched between Eight is Enough and Dave's World weekday afternoons...I would love to see them (or American Life TV/Retro Television Network) pick this up.
shareI thought that they ran this show back then but was not sure because I was living down in Decatur, Illinois at that time where I grew up at. I was flipping channels and stumbled upon it. Why did they not keep it on? That would have been great to see again! I miss this show a lot!
shareUgh, no way, Jose. If anything, the master tapes should be lost in a fire, it's that bad.
shareThey did show it on ION about 11 years ago or so because I remember flipping through the stations and saw it on that channel before. It was a good family show like many others that have just not been looked at like other family shows that they show in reruns too much now.
I can name a ton of shows that they should be showing rather than Prince of Bel Air, Home Improvement, Roseanne, The Cosby Show, Full House, and many more that they show now in reruns which I have seen a million times but shows like Punky Brewster, Mr. Belvedere, Silver Spoons, Valerie/The Hogans/Hogan Family, and many others that are not seen at all on the networks in reruns.

it would be great to see it on that station but the point is when is it gonna be on that station or when are they planning to release it to dvd it seems like no one really wants to see the show as its not being put on tv for those to see all episodes still would like to see a complete series dvd release or a season by season dvd release (valerie/the hogan family
shareIt was shown on ION back in the early 2000's from what I remember. I do not see why this cannot be on DVD when it took Mr. Belvedere forever to get put out on DVD box set. I still have to buy the third season. I have the first and second season already and I am excited now that the video company has put them out. So give it time for this to come out itself. It was a great family show in my opinion and I do not know why it has not been placed on reruns like a lot of the other shows that I see on every darn channel in reruns.
