wondering what is up with the hogan family dvd release

any news on valerie/the hogan family coming on tv and/or getting released to dvd haven't heard anything for awhile on this series

valerie is blocking the release so it isnt coming to dvd

No she isn't. The producers are blocking the release. She only owns 10% of the show and doesn't have the clout to do so. Plus she'd be depriving herself of making money on the series. Stop talking about this like you know it's a sure thing.

I love "Valerie" but like a lot of '80s sitcoms (especially the family genre) it's a forgotten series that probably won't sell too well because it is dated and represents a very specific segment. In July the complete series of Gimme a Break! was finally put out on DVD in 1 release by an independent company outside of the US. The audio and video quality was not very good and the packaging was pretty bad but that didn't matter because the entire series was finally available as an official release and at a great price. I see this as the wave of the future for forgotten sitcoms of the '80s.

No! It can't be forgotten :( . I've never seen it! I love these shows and I'd buy a copy. Maybe even one for a relative.
