haven't heard anything on a dvd release of valeries family/the hogan family for awhile it would be great if they would release the complete series of this show to dvd like they did gimme a break i hope that happens for all those valerie/hogan family fans

shareI am amazed that Valerie hasnt been released on dvd. Given all the crappy tv shows of that era that have managed to make it on to dvd! They should at the very least give us a dvd of the first two seasons where Valerie was alive and the show was at its best.

shareMy guess is because Valerie won a significant amount money from the producers for her firing (even some profits from the series she was no longer associated with), those with the show are afraid of another lawsuit with Valerie asking for a cut of DVD sales (something not foreseeable in the late '80s) or syndication rights (explaining why you have not seen the show since its last season on CBS).
