They showed scrolling credits of the crew.

Well that was a good way to end the show you know. It is a shame that they did not introduce each actor playing each character on the show. That would have been good to see.

It didnt really have an ending. The show moved to CBS in fall, 1990. CBS placed the show on Saturday nights, where it furthered the decline in ratings the show had already been on its last year on NBC. I think the final episode was their Christmas episode that aired in July, 1991. No real series finale.

That is what always happens is CBS will always get a show that is popular some what when it's popularity or ratings is going down. Plus, the the time slot of when CBS puts the show on is on a time when everyone else is watching something else on a different network. It is a shame because the show was great to watch and Iloved it too! I watched it ever since it premiered on Monday nights after ALF.

The only show that survived that 1990 Fall CBS Saturday schedule was "48 Hours" which was quickly moved to another night. Ironically enough its still on and now airs...Saturday nights. ABC should have picked it up and placed it on TGIF. If memory serves it was a Miller Boyette production and it would have fit in nicely there.

reply

I agree with you that ABC should have picked it up but I do not think that the executives at AZbC were thinking at that time. It would have fit into ABC's TGIF schedule. I hope that family sitcoms will make a come back once again because I am getting sick of either crime and drama shows or the reality shows that are on now.

Yeah TV has really went downhill over the years. Networks seem to not care as much as they once did. At least back then they tried programming Saturday. Now its reruns or already cancelled shows.

reply

Yes TV programming has changed a lot in the past 15 to 20 years. Like you stated every network just wants to show reruns of the same stuff. Once one network starts to show something then the other networks have to follow behind.
