They often blatantly spoiled entire movies left and right

For instance, in their Heaven’s Prisoners review they straight up show the ending of the movie. In other cases they'd explain the whole plot of some movie, including the plot twists. And they did stuff like that all the time! Spoiler alert was apparently not a thing back then. It's kind of funny when they start spoiling the #### out of some mystery or thriller flick with no qualms what so ever.

I guess so or were they trying to save people from seeing the movie, and I would imagine that would be the case with the bad movies or the ones they thought were bad. But even through still I don't think it is a good idea to spoil a movie like say giving the ending away or at least not without a spoiler warning. And I would say that if you want to see Heaven’s Prisoners you pretty much have to watch the movie first and then see their review of it.
