I thought Scott and Phillips were gonna make it

After the failure of the 2 Ben's by Disney I thought this show would be cancelled for good. Then they go out and bring in Scott and Phillips and 'Im thinking "Yes, they finally got it right. These 2 guys can carry the show for at least the next 10 years for a whole new generation. When I heard the show was cancelled I was stunned. I'm so surprised they only gave Scott and Phillips 1 year after the massive failure that was the 2 Ben's. I know that weren't perfect but they were so prefessional and sturdy.

I am surprised as well. It's too bad. The show deserved more time.

It's agreed they were professional and sturdy. Some of there reviews and reasonings were questionable though, and not just their positive reviews of Twilight movies and 'releaseing one's inner teen girl'

It's just hard to get back the watchability of the two original critics, Disney couldn't find that spark of combustion.

I think it would be better if At The Movies becomes a online show (considering their web exclusives).

Besides, the show is given stupid timeslots on TV and little to no advertisement.

Weird is the new normal.

I guess they were going to look at the ratings for it for that season to decide if or not to allow it to couture

I think the problem was they had cut ties with Ebert and Roeper and that was what killed it. Even though Michael and AO were not bad, they didn't have the balcony set, which hurt them.
