That's really bad because I like musicals. I loved West Side Story, Chicago so I'm really dissapointed in this.
I've watched half of the first part and I'm bored already.
I feel the need to reinforce the point that this most definitely isn't what is generally understood as a "musical", though the music in it is important.
Still, it's the bestest mini-series of all time, so I'd have another go, if you did actually give up on it.
It is a musical, among other things. Not an orthodox one, by any means, but it has musical numbers throughout - regardless that the songs aren't original and that they're lip synching to classics.
If I have to tell you again, we're gonna take it outside and I'm gonna show you what it's like!
