Filming locations, again
At the end of "The Second Stain", Holmes leaps into the air at the top of a flight of outdoor stairs. Does anyone know where those stairs are located?

According to my Granada book, by Peter Haining, filming for this episode took place at Capesthorne Hall, in Chesire England... here's a link:

Oh, and the reason they froze it where they did, and converted the freeze to a drawing is when Jeremy landed, it was not pretty: He twisted his ankle!
^ Wow! I just saw the freeze frame a few days ago and loved it but I did say to myself, why would anyone jump in the air on a staircase?
shareThey are the steps from 2 Carlton Gardens, the location of Lord Trelawney Hope's house, that lead down to The Mall. They are beautiful stairs and are also the site of some royal memorial statues. 2 Carlton Gardens is one of the most beautiful houses in London now government related offices.
