Why call it the REAL Ghostbusters?

In order to differentiate from the unrelated Ghostbusters cartoon that came out the same year, which was based on the 1975 film.

Hey thanks! Based on you post, I looked up that old movie. I had heard of it, but didn't know there was a cartoon of it in 86.

No problem, and it was actually a TV show. I don't know why I said movie, my mistake.

The Ghostbusters series based on the original TV show actually beat this one to the network. (No doubt trying to capitalize on the popularity of the movies at the time)
