Least favorite episode(s) from Season 2?

My least favorite episodes from Season 2 are A Fright At The Opera and Hanging By A Thread, for some reason I've always thought they were the weaker episodes from an otherwise spectacular season.

I didn't like A Fright at the Opera or Hanging by a thread that much either. There's also the episode where Winston becomes some kind of God to fight against some ancient spirit who attacks the Ghostbusters by possessing a dinosaur skeleton. That was meh too. And the episode A Hard Knight's Day where Peter goes with a woman to a museum and these ghosts of knights kidnap her to try and make her into the woman they loved. That was meh too. The Gremlins one though I like it a bit is not my most watched episode either. Here are my favorites from Season 2 though.
Chicken he Clucked
Lost and Foundry
You can't take it with you
Drool the Dogfaced Goblin
Ghostbuster of the year
The Revenge of Murray the Mantis
The Thing in Mrs. Faversham's Attic
The headless motorcyclist
The Man who never went home
No one comes to Lupisville
Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Ghost
The Devil to Pay
Last Train to Oblivion
Night Game
Beneath these streets
The Bird of Kildarby
Boo Dunit
The Old College Spirit
Who you calling 2 dimensional
Ragnarok and Roll
Janine's day off
Ghost Fight at the Okay Corral
The Ghostbusters in Paris
The Hole in the wall gang.

The episode where Winston becomes some sort of God to fight against an ancient spirit pretending to be a dinosaur skeleton is "Moaning Stone", I actually like that episode a lot, oddly it was one episode I never cared for at first but has grown onto me a lot and now give it a 9/10, "A Hard Knight's Day" was a decent episode but definitely not one of my favorites, I give that one a 6/10, I don't recall the Gremlins episode, it's not the one where they're at an auto factory ("Don't Forget The Motor City") isn't it? I do enjoy that episode and give it an 8/10

I'm glad to see you like "Boo Dunit", it's one of the episodes that seems to get disliked a lot that I find to be underrated.

reply

Yeah. Don't forget Motor City is enjoyable but not my favorite. I like Boo Dunit cause when I was a kid though I didn't read them my grandma and grandpa had a lot of the Agatha Christy books and they payed tribute to that author in that episode.

reply

That is really cool your grandparents had a bunch of Agatha Christy books, I liked the whodunit style of the episode and I especially loved the ending of what happens to Winston.

What are your opinions on the episode "Station Identification"? Me I give it a 7/10, the animation isn't the best but it was one of the first episodes I've seen and because of that I have a soft spot for it.

Two classic episodes I'm surprised you didn't mention are "The Collect Call of Cthlulu" and "Knock Knock" which seems to be a top favorite for many people.

reply

I like Knock Knock but I'm not big on Cthulu.

reply

I initially didn't think much of Cthlulu when I first saw it myself but really liked it on subsequent viewings.

Other episodes I didn't care for very much are "Apocalypse! What Now", "Sea Fright", "Deadcon 1" and "Banshee Bake A Cherry Pie".

reply

Yeah. I didn't care for Banshee bake a Cherry Pie either. That Music Video scene in it was really awkward.

reply

I also didn't think much on "Transylvanian Homesick Blues" either, I sometimes wish "Transylvanian" was a Season 3 episode instead of the far superior "Slimer, Is That You?", if "Slimer" was released as a Season 2 episode the final episode of the Syndicated run would've ended on a high note.

reply

I do admit while I don't dislike the episode "The Devil In The Deep" but I do find the animation in that episode to be weak.
