Most underrated Real Ghostbusters episodes?

IMO the most underrated episodes of The Real Ghostbusters are

"Who're You Calling Two Dimensional"
"Ghost Busted"
"Adventures Of Slime And Space" (don't understand the hatred people have for that episode)
"Moaning Stones"
"Janine Melnitz, Ghostbuster" (I've thought this episode was one of the best Janine and Slimer performances of all time)

I don't see any of the Seasons 1 through 2 epiosdes getting any hate. Frankly I think the series sucked later on. It's too bad you can't get the first 2 seasons on DVD. Some of them had to be saved for the Season 3 release because of there not being enough room on the DVD. It's funny I ended up buying the whole series on DVD cause Season 3/Volume 3 was not available anywhere I looked online at the time.

Green Goblin is great! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1L4ZuaVvaw

I know a few episodes I've seen get bashed on a lot are "Ghost Busted", "Adventures In Slime And Space" (which I disagree) and "Hanging By A Thread" (that I somewhat agree).

Chicken, He Clucked.

Chicken, He Clucked.

That was another one of my favorite episodes, J. Michael Stravincski (sp) sure was a genius coming up with the idea of this episode.

It's an extremely clever episode with a very dark ending, especially watched as an adult today.

One that comes to mind immediately:

"The Grundel". To anyone who says the post-ABC-interference episodes are totally unwatchable, this one will prove you wrong.

reply

I think if you ask some fans they'll tell you there's some good episodes after Season 2, overall though the quality of the show declined.

Another episode I feel is underrated and seems to get a lot of dislike is "Don't Forget The Motor City", I always thought it was one of the more fun episodes to watch.

reply

Another episode I like that hardly seems to get mentioned is "The Hole In The Wall Gang", the scene where Ray's hair turns white was creepy.

I also feel that "The Cabinet Of Calamari" is one of the more underrated episodes of the series.

reply

I liked the Hole in the Wall game and the Cabinet of Calamari. It was awesome how they did the ghost of Houdini.

reply

I also loved how they did the ghost of Houdini in "Cabinet Of Calamari", I love the animation in that episode, I also loved that Calamari was the villain instead of the ghost of Houdini.

I also feel that "Don't Forget The Motor City" and "Station Identification" are underrated episodes that gets more than its fair share of dislikes, I rate both of these episodes an 8/10

I also liked "Lights, Camera, Haunting!" was a very good episode that gets little to no mention.

Another episode I liked that I feel gets little attention is "Rollerghoster", I loved the scenes with Egon & Janine going out on a date and the banter between Peter and the scuzzy Carnival Manager.
