A friend of mine works for a post production studio and he's working on scanning the original elements of this show in 4k and rebuilding the episodes using the original sd masters as a guide. Don't know if this is going to be shown anywhere or released on bluray or just used as an archive.

My fav episodes are in seasons 3 & 4. I was disappointed when only the first two seasons were released (previously).

I'm skeptical, but it would be wonderful to have a complete collection of this show in some format better than the crummy DVD release and the VHS uploads online we presently have. I'd buy a Blu-ray collection!
shareWell The Leftovers have shown people watching the show on tv a few times now, so maybe its their way to get the show in people's subconscience ahead of any release. I hope this is thecase as this was one of my favorites growing up and only remember a few bits and pieces.
Not sure why I would want to watch this sitcom on 4k.
If it was videotaped why would it even be on 4k?

I used to watch the show, but have not seen it in a long time.
Other than Balki saying Cousin Lad-dee, I don't remember much. Surprised it is not in syndication.
I know it isn't the same as popping in a VHS or DVD, but you can stream all eight seasons online, if they aren't available to the public (some posts made it sound like they are and some made it sound like they aren't).
