jokerswild1 is right, it's a common myth, but a myth nonetheless. Some gays are incredibly masculine, for instance.
Some straight men are extremely effeminate, and have to deal with people suspecting they are gay their whole lives.
This myth needs to go away :)
Bronson Pinchot said in an interview that he played Balki as though he were a virgin.
That being said, he and Mark Linn-Baker had a LOT of chemistry.
I'm not saying anything other than their very strong chemistry and constant touchy-feelyness really makes you wonder when Larry and Balki are going to get it on - esp with Balki in his pajamas when they share a bed.
In real life, Bronson and Mark are both straight, but, it bears repeating, they had a LOT of chemistry.

shareSo was Larry. It's rumored that this show was supposed to be about a gay couple and ABC got cold feet at the last minute and made up the "cousins" storyline. But there are definitely a lot of times you could swear they are playing a couple. I mean, Larry jumped into Balki's arma for the dance of joy. Come on!
