Aw heck, I'll give it a shot anyways....

Besides, I'm not very sure of the answer....but I do however remember one occasion where PW said the secret word and NOTHING HAPPENED!!!

I don't remember the title of the episode, but it was the one with the salad-bar....PW put together a salad and began to eat it w/o dressing...and PW said "ugghhhh...this salad tastes a LITTLE dry" (LITTLE being the secret word) and NOTHING happened!!! I don't know why no one else has caught on to it (I KNOW it's not just me)...

...Wonder if THAT'S it...

Episode 5, the secret word is "back". When Reba is about to leave after giving him his mail, she says "I must be getting back now" and nothing is said.

reply

arrg i dont remember but it was when pee-wee was really pissed off. he said the secret word but probably wasn't in the mood to scream and be happy.

WTF was so awsome about it?

reply

That was the episode Why wasn't I invited? The secret word was ALL.

reply

In the episode when the secret word is "little". He is sitting in Chairry, and the word LITTLE was in the middle of a sentence.

By the way, I thought the episode when ZYZZYBALUBAH was hysterical. I remember it well.

reply

O.K., I remember ZYZZYBALUBAH, but who portrayed him, & who portrayed Yvonna?

reply

George McGrath played Zyzzybalubah, and Lynne Marie Stewart (who was also Miss Yvonne) played Yvonna.

There was one episode, I think the secret word was 'There', and then Knuclehead head told a knock knock joke and when Pee-wee said, "Who's THERE?" nothing happened.

I bought this pen one hour before my bike was stolen. Why? What's the significance? I don't know!

reply

"Who portrayed Yvonna?"

Oh, COME ON!!! Are you being sarcastic?

*snaps fingers*

WAKE UP, steven's brain!!

"Yvonna" didn't LOOK at least a LITTLE familiar to you??

"Yvonna"....hmmm....doesn't the sound REMIND you of a name of a certain character on that show??

{Chuckle, Chuckle}Yes, I WAS being sarcastic! I thought it WAS strange, however, seeing her hair flat on her head, after seeing her FLUFFY hair for SO long!

Yeah I was just watching the THERE ondemand episode. Pee Wee was singing Old MacDonald Had a Farm and once he got to the "Here a chick, THERE a chick..." Nothing happened. I had to scream all by myself. Haha.

reply

They should scream regardless of when the word is spoken in the middle of a sentence or at the end. "For the rest of the day, WHENEVER anybody says the seceret word, scream real loud!"
They usually only do it when it is at the end of a sentence. The first time I caught one they missed was the "BACK to work" instance with Reba. I screamed by myself at that one, and was dissapointed at that. Shame on them for missing that and any of the others. What's the point of having a secret word if you're not gonna scream every time it is said????

There's a time and a place for everything. And it's called College.

reply

That's because he DIDN'T say "There". He knew what would happen. So he said "Here a Chick...(pause to remember the secret word)...here a chick..."

Turn on the Closed-Captions, & you will see.

I think sometimes the secret word wasn't acknowledged because normally everybody could only catch it when it was heard at the end of a sentence.

"Tsuppari is my former name."

reply

I actually just watched the Salad episode on adult swim and they DO scream when he says the salad is a LITTLE dry

reply

I was watching an episode of this show on On Demand from Comcast. The episode name is "Ice Cream Soup" and the secret word was "Door." The guy that knocks on the red door and tries to sell Pee-Wee something said the phraise "door-to-door" and no one screamed.

P.S. I just watched the show where the secret word was "Little" and the secret word was said twice but was only screamed at when the word was said the second time.

reply

I kind of did want to mention that in the episode, "Sick? Did Somebody Say Sick?" where everybody was forced to bark like dogs when they heard the secret word, they did miss it twice in that episode. The secret word was "go," but when Randy said "I'll go crazy in here..." nobody barked. Even Dr. Jinga Janga said, "Go right ahead," and nobody barked at that either.

"Tsuppari is my former name."

In the episode "Why Wasn't I Invited?", Pee-wee missed the secret word "ALL". After becoming frustrated that he hadn't been invited to Cowntess' birthday party, he threw a tantrum in which he exclaimed at the end, "It doesn't make any sense at all!". Neither Pee-wee nor the remaining friends at the Playhouse took notice.
