Anybody else think the dog-chair thingy was a toilet growing up?

Yes I always thought it looked like a toilet.

I been re-watching all the episodes and I notice that the Dog Chair was hardly ever noticed or mentioned from anyone. Cherry got all the attention and poor Dog Chair was always left out from Pee-wee and the gang. It's a shame no one really paid attention to Dog Chair.
