DOES ANY BODY REMEMBER THE DOG'S NAME ON THIS SERIES? MY DAUGHTER THINKS IT WAS JAKE!!!

Others have already confirmed but I will confirm again that it was Arthur
share It was positively Arthur...a Basset Hound...as I recall he bit Chads lip at some point and he has a scar as a result.
Now if they could just put the show on DVD...
Everyone here is correct it was Arthur . There was a Jake the dog on the TV Show " Highway To Heaven " from the season 4 two part episodes " Man's Best Friend " . He also seemed like a sweet dog just like Arthur . Thanks madamhigg for your subject post .
sharearthur was just wonderful! and a great actor as well! i love him almost as much as 'columbo's' Dog, who also happened to be a basset hound.

I didn't know actor Peter Falk ( aka Columbo ) had a basset hound dog . What was the dog's name ? Thanks cassavetes45 for sharing that with us .
shareactually, i did mention his name....his name was Dog.
Dog made his debut in the first episode of the second season of 'columbo'...'etude in black', which just happened to star john cassavetes as the murderer.
in that episode columbo tries to figure out a name for him but he never came up with one. Dog went on to co-star with peter in a number of episodes, and he always delighted me.

That's a riot lol . I have the first season of the Columbo series on DVD but unfortunately I don't the second . I will have to check out hulu or some other company like that one to see if I can view this episode soon . Thanks again cassavetes45 .

there were episodes to view a few years ago, but they've all been pulled...i suppose due to copyright laws. the only thing you may find are some clips of the shows on youtube. it's really a shame.
i would encourage you to buy or rent some other seasons of the show, i can guarantee that you'll love them.

Well that's a bummer but perhaps one of these days I will purchase the second season of that show . At least we still have DVD around that's a plus . Thanks again cassavetes45 for the heads up on this and your reply .
