She Really Cleaned Up This Show Afterwards

I remember back in the 1980s The Oprah Winfrey Show was just like all the other daytime talk shows. There were confrontational topics and guests like skinheads, criminals, religious nuts etc., but later on (sometime in the early 1990s) she totally changed the format and put a sharp focus on more positive, uplifting and inspirational topics instead. The 'sleazy guest' days were over.

She succeeded remarkably on upgrading the quality of her show.
