...as GIDGET! Am I crazy? This show is not in Lucy Arnez's listing nor is she in the cast list. Didn't she PLAY GIDGET?

I watched this damn show every saturday before the "New Monkees".

Lucie Arnaz was not Gidget. Caryn Richman had the leading role in as the new Gidget.

I thought Sydney Penny was the actor who played Gidget in the remake series?

Sydney Penny portrayed Gidget's niece, Dani. Most of the plot lines involved Dani. Gidget (Caryn Richman) and her husband, Jeff (Dean Butler), didn't have any children.
