How about a petition for a DVD?
I've decided, after looking everywhere for this film and reading some of the comments here, that if no one else is going to I will write to the Feature Films for Families and see if I can't get them to givvus a DVD, or at the very least start re-issuing the series on VHS. But first I want a good list of signatures to back me up, 'cos I'm a bleedin' coward.
Is a petition the right way to go? How many would have to sign for it to make any kind of impact? Would it be all right for the paranoid amongst us to use their screen-names? And do any of you care enough to sign it? Would anyone feel up to writing the petition-text as my skills with formal yet heartfelt language are non-existent?
All these questions; will I get any answers? =)
C'mon people! Good book-to-film adaptations for the masses! I've found a site where you can set up an organised petition for free and all. Feel free to write me a pm through imdb.com or send me an e-mail: fionnuala . j @ gmail . com (remove spaces).
Are you with me?
